Summary

Bai Ze and Xie Lian Huan emerged into a tomb-like chamber, where Bai Ze calculated that dawn was approaching and others would soon arrive. He had hidden a fake corpse to delay them. The room contained valuable burial items, including exquisite jars and a mysterious red box that emitted a faint scent of decay. Suddenly, a white-furred child-like creature, a zongzi, leaped from the box and vanished. Bai Ze noted its dangerous nature but sensed no malice. After leaving the chamber, they encountered two paths; Bai Ze chose the right, trusting his instincts despite the zongzi's footprints leading left.
