Chapter 184: Starting from a Blank Slate. [184]
Summary
This chapter describes a group of young, enthusiastic students from the Six Arts Academy who were tasked with leading disaster relief efforts in Ping County. They were able to build homes and shelter for over 200,000 people, with less than 100,000 casualties, even in the face of an invasion by the Liao army. The students were incredibly proud of their accomplishments and felt that the Six Arts provided them with unparalleled experiences. However, when they tried to recruit more people to join their efforts, they faced challenges, as "good men don't join the army." The students then came up with the idea of issuing waist tokens instead of tattoos to distinguish the soldiers, and they sought the advice of their mentor, Wang Ning An, on how to proceed.Full content
