Summary

A massive metal ship, the Flying Bear, is on a hunting expedition led by Xiong Jin Ya. As they traverse the sea, they encounter and devour sea beasts using a bear head statue at the ship's prow. Inside the helm, Xiong Jin Ya enjoys fish while observing Chu Tian, an alchemist, who is focused on his work with a bronze furnace. The old black bear, who brought Chu Tian aboard, feels envy from other bears for his good fortune. Chu Tian confidently predicts the location of their target, Chang Chun Gu, while refining a potion. Xiong Jin Ya expresses skepticism but is intrigued by Chu Tian's abilities. As Chu Tian successfully creates pills, Xiong Jin Ya is astonished, recognizing their value as Hundred-Year Pills.
