Summary

Lu Sheng takes the little San Nü to a secret chamber to identify his collected spoils. He discovers a booklet of spells for dealing with demons, which he absorbs for yin energy. Lu Sheng, who has three forms, names his ultimate form the Destroyer. He negotiates with San Nü, who agrees to cooperate in exchange for help restoring her strength. They exchange knowledge about a puppet control technique, which Lu Sheng finds useful. Afterward, they exit the chamber, and Lu Sheng contemplates the supernatural abilities of demons while reviewing urgent reports about his gang's territories.
