Summary

In Chapter 182, titled "Unending Wounds," Zhou Zhen awakens to find his arms covered in blood characters, indicating a serious injury. Realizing that Kaoru has somehow emerged while he was asleep, he rushes to the storage room to find a hemostatic spray. However, he experiences hallucinations, mistaking the spray for a love letter. Despite his injuries worsening, he applies the spray, which causes more pain and blood loss. Just as he is about to answer a call from Tao Nan Ge, he hallucinates again, seeing Kaoru instead of her. When Tao Nan Ge arrives, she is alarmed by his injuries and goes to fetch medicine. Zhou Zhen struggles with his mental state, facing illusions of Kaoru and confusion about reality. Eventually, he is attacked by what he thinks is Kaoru, but it turns out to be Tao Nan Ge. After a moment of disorientation, he regains his composure, realizing the gravity of his situation as Tao Nan Ge releases him.
