Summary

A Cheng, bound and desperate, insists he is telling the truth about a backup document related to a confidential "Hand of Salvation" plan. Chen Ling, threatening him, realizes A Cheng's loyalty is questionable. A Cheng reveals that the plan could affect all of humanity in the Aurora Realm but knows little else. After a futile interrogation, Chen Ling decides to end A Cheng's life. Meanwhile, Wen Shi Lin, troubled by thoughts of Chen Ling, struggles to focus on his writing. He becomes obsessed with a mysterious photo and its implications, leading him to seek out Chen Ling at Divine Doctor Chu's clinic, hoping to uncover more answers.
