Summary

Chu Feng learns about the Shura Ghost Tower, a historical site with treasures that has been the center of conflict between the Jie Ling Gong Hui and the Jie clan for over 10,000 years. A significant battle nearly erupted a century ago between two geniuses from each faction, but they opted for a competition of barrier techniques instead. Both geniuses, Jie Shi and Gu Tian Chen, ultimately lost to a mysterious barrier master from outside Jie Prefecture, who vanished after claiming control of the tower. This defeat led to the two geniuses retreating into seclusion, leaving their current status unknown. The chapter concludes with Chu Feng and his companions participating in an assessment led by a gray-robed Jie Ling master, where they must break humanoid statues for points.
