Summary

In the Titan Star System's 1247 star region, Mars is much smaller and harsher than its counterpart in the Ma Fa Star System. The planet suffers from extreme heat, scarce water, and increasing desertification, leading to a lack of Suzerains and a population fond of adventure but impoverished. The Gem Ship's docking faced difficulties, requiring a high-risk manual connection by the crew. Fire Heng, upon seeing a holographic program of Mars, felt a mix of homesickness and sorrow for his desolate homeland. Traveling to the surface involved either renting a shuttle or bribing officials. Fire Heng, Yue Chen, and Huo Wu arrived at a deserted space airport, looking towards the distant city of Wa Di Ba Dou, the Martian capital. The city, buried in sand, was a stark contrast to its imitation in the Ma Fa Star System. Despite the simplicity of flying to the city, Yue Chen opted for a taxi service, which Fire Heng criticized for its high fare. When a rusty off-road vehicle arrived, the driver, a carefree young man, greeted them enthusiastically but was quickly subdued by David. The driver then offered guiding services for an additional fee, but Yue Chen simply instructed him to drive, and they sped towards the city.
