Summary

Che Qian Zi wakes up naked after a night of drinking at an old man's house. The head servant helps him dress in new clothes, explaining his original ones are being cleaned. Che Qian Zi is relieved to see his friend Sun De Sheng, who reveals he had been worried about him and came to check on him. The old man presents them with gold ingots as a gesture of goodwill, which Che Qian Zi is bewildered to receive. Sun De Sheng insists it’s fate and encourages him to accept the gift. As they prepare to leave, they spot Huang Ran, prompting Che Qian Zi to suggest they check in, but Sun De Sheng believes they are being followed for their own reasons.
