Summary

A disturbance in the bamboo forest draws attention to a tengu, which, after being startled by an object from the research facility, vows to reveal the Eternal Pavilion's wrongdoings before fleeing. Ling Xian recognizes the tengu, Wen, leading to a conversation with Ba Yi Yong Lin, who expresses concern over Ling Xian's trust in her.
