Summary

Yuan Zhou's small shop is a popular destination for foodies, despite its unassuming appearance. A man with severe facial injuries arrives at the shop and orders a bowl of scrambled eggs and rice. Yuan Zhou hands him a towel to wipe his face, saying that blood will affect the taste of the dish. The man is surprised by the towel's effectiveness and comments on its quality. Meanwhile, Fang Hua Shi, a painter, observes the scene and is amazed by the shop's unique atmosphere. She orders the same dish as the injured man and waits for her food. The shop is filled with a variety of customers, including a newlywed couple who are waiting for their meal. Yuan Zhou brings out the fried rice to the scarred man, who exclaims "I won!" after taking a bite. The shop's warm and welcoming atmosphere is in contrast to the formal and strict environment of the nearby Fu Rong Lou restaurant.
