Summary

In a tense encounter, Yi Fan and his companions observe a man in a foul-smelling purple-red robe controlling a horde of corpses using a magical artifact called the Soul Hook Bell. While Yi Fan and his friends are able to resist the entrancing sound of the bell, ordinary citizens succumb to its effects. The man, identified as Feng Da Shi, converses with soldiers at the North City Gate, claiming to have dealt with some demons but needing more time to eliminate the remaining threats. Yi Fan suggests following him to uncover his true intentions, as they suspect he may be involved in sinister activities.
