Chapter 18: Yuanzhou's Principles. [17]

Summary

Yuan Zhou, a skilled chef, has a small shop with a unique rule: one serving per person per meal, no additions allowed. A customer, Zou Heng, tries to persuade him to make an exception, offering to pay five times the price, but Yuan Zhou refuses. Despite Zou Heng's persistence, Yuan Zhou remains firm, citing the shop's rules. The customer eventually leaves, and Yuan Zhou reflects on the system's message, which states that word of mouth is the best promotion for a cooking god like himself. The shop's business starts to pick up, and Yuan Zhou adds more rules to the menu, including no take-out service. The customers are surprised by the delicious food and the quirky rules, but they come to accept them. Yuan Zhou's reputation as a genius chef grows, and his shop becomes popular.
