Summary

He Xiao, injured and assisted by Zhan Wei, struggles to transport a mountain climbing backpack and a generator back to their house, evading small delinquents. Once home, Zhan Wei tends to He Xiao's wounds, prompting him to envision an underground shelter for survival. They discuss He Xiao's invention of a smart manufacturing machine and a material recycler, which can produce essential parts and decompose waste. After a long night of assembly, He Xiao completes the machine, but the next day brings challenges as they prepare for famine. They work together to create the material recycler, but soon face power supply issues due to its size.
