Summary

In a secluded palace, Gong Nü Er weeps over the drought and dangers in Jin City, expressing concern for her family. Gong Nü Yi comforts her, questioning the safety of Da Huang Zi, sent by the Emperor to Jin City. Princess Jia Yue overhears and, distressed, rushes to her mother, Su Jingyao, fearing for her brother's safety. Su Jingyao reassures her but is troubled by the rumors. Miao Yun later reveals Da Huang Zi has been out of contact for ten days, prompting Su Jingyao to seek the truth. When confronted by Ze Chen, she learns her son is indeed in Jin City, leaving her in despair over his safety.
