Summary

Lu Chen and the black dog A Tu have settled at Feiyan Terrace, enjoying a more comfortable life compared to their previous roles as errand disciples. With the guidance of Golden Core cultivator Su Qing Jun, Lu Chen begins building a wooden house and takes on farming tasks in the spiritual field. This new status allows him more leisure time, and he becomes a subject of envy among other disciples. One day, while exploring the woods, Lu Chen investigates a large, ancient tree but finds nothing unusual. Meanwhile, Dong Fang Tao, now a Nascent Soul cultivator, visits a dark and eerie place to meet a corpse-watcher, expressing his disdain for the location and urging the corpse-watcher to get to the point of their meeting.
