Chapter 176: Qing Xuan Jiang Xun? Does he even deserve to stand shoulder to shoulder with Gu Xiu? [175]

Summary

Jiang Xun's consciousness has entered a state of stagnation due to a technique called Soul Escape, which allows a Divine Soul to hide from unbearable pain, but at a severe cost to the physical body. His body has deteriorated to a state of mush, despite efforts from a heavenly artifact to restore him. Meanwhile, Wei Chi Chun Lei, who set up a Spirit Gathering Array for him, is unaware of the damage caused and is filled with pride until she hears Jiang Xun's furious roars, realizing her mistake. As Jiang Xun, now a grotesque figure, seeks revenge and a remedy for his condition, he travels to the Bi Bo Sect. Upon arrival, he is met with hostility from the disciples, leading to a chaotic battle where he showcases his strength while trying to avoid harming the beautiful attackers. Eventually, Deputy Headmaster Leng Ming Shu recognizes him as a disciple of Qing Xuan, but instead of respect, she expresses skepticism about his identity, leading to a humorous misunderstanding.
