Summary

Ye Hao gives Mingyue a pendant for her safety, demonstrating its power when he throws an ashtray at her, which is mysteriously blocked by the pendant's glow. Mingyue's parents are impressed by Ye Hao's wealth and power, believing he helps her out of admiration rather than romantic interest. Later, Ye Hao faces an elder from the Martial Arts Bureau, who attempts to arrest him for threatening noble families. Shao Hua intervenes, asserting Ye Hao's protection and defying the elder's authority. Ye Hao reassures Mingyue before being taken to the Bureau, where he encounters Hall Master Ou Yang, who wishes to discuss his threats against the Wang family.
