Summary
The Zhen Clan and Huai Shan armies harassed the Guandou army's rear guard, slowing their advance. The Guandou Elder sent additional troops to ambush the enemy. Bai Wa led a strategic retreat while engaging the enemy, allowing his forces to escape. Despite fierce fighting and heavy losses, Bai Wa's leadership helped his light cavalry break free from encirclement. After the battle, Bai Wa returned with fewer than three hundred men, having suffered significant casualties.
