Summary

The Sui army, led by General You Jun Da, launched an assault on Jiaoxi City with 3,000 elite soldiers. Despite heavy defenses from the bandit general Zheng Ting and his 5,000 troops, the Sui forces pressed on, suffering significant casualties from arrows and falling debris. Zhang Xu Tuo, determined to breach the city, devised a strategy to feign an attack at the eastern city while sending General Luo Shi Xin with heavily armored soldiers to assault the northern city. The Sui soldiers, equipped with formidable heavy armor and cavalry sabers, advanced towards the walls. As they began their assault, the bandit forces panicked under the might of the Sui army. Luo Shi Xin led the charge, overcoming the bandits and ultimately breaching the walls. The Sui forces surged into the city, causing chaos among the bandit troops. In the midst of the turmoil, bandit leader Meng Rang attempted to escape as his forces crumbled, while Zhang Xu Tuo ordered the army to enter the city and eliminate the remaining bandit forces.
