Summary

Lin Qi Ye encounters a spider child during a training drill, using his dual divine powers to incapacitate it. After defeating the spider, he reflects on the toll it took on him. His companions, Shen Qing Zhu and others, arrive to find the spider's corpse, and Lin Qi Ye informs them that one threat has been dealt with, but there is another. Molly, another participant, appears with only a severed hand from the last entity they were supposed to confront. As the drill concludes, Chief Instructor Yuan Gang announces the end of the exercise, reassuring everyone that the "sacrificed" personnel are safe. He informs them that their performances will be scored and that training is canceled for the next day. Lin Qi Ye, hoping to eat the spider child’s corpse, is disappointed when Yuan Gang informs him that all corpses must be recovered. Lin Qi Ye then feigns innocence about another entity, the "Cube," claiming it left no remains after being destroyed. Yuan Gang, skeptical, ultimately decides to let it go.
