Summary

In Chapter 172 of the story, Yang Kai returns to a tragic scene where the Mo Family has suffered a deadly attack, leaving only him and three women alive. After a brief exchange, he agrees to escort them to Sea City. The women, grieving for their fallen companions, attempt to bury one of the deceased, Old Wu, while Yang Kai collects valuables. Despite their struggles, he helps them with the burial before they continue their journey. As they travel, Cui'er speculates about Yang Kai's background, and they encounter a group blocking their path, which turns out to be from the Miao Family, the very clan the Madam intended to seek refuge with.
