Summary

In the icy depths of the Yi River, Su Bai struggles to save A Li from drowning, knowing they must reach the shore quickly to survive. As imperial guards search for them, Su Bai manages to pull A Li to safety. They face the harsh cold, and Su Bai helps A Li remove her wet clothes to warm up. They seek refuge at Sima Zhen's residence, where Su Bai prepares ginger tea to warm them. Sima Zhen is concerned about their ordeal, especially since A Li is the Saintess of the Shaman Clan. Despite the trouble, Su Bai reassures A Li, promising to protect her and encouraging her to drink the ginger soup.
