Summary

The old man of withered wood summoned faint green light amidst black fog, using ghostly flames from corpses to create a formation. He identified Yi Fan as the killer of his disciple, Hao Yan, and expressed a sinister intent to refine Yi Fan into a flesh puppet. Meanwhile, Yi Fan and his companions traveled to Da Liu Village, where they were warmly welcomed by a hospitable family. As they rested, Yi Fan reflected on the journey and shared a moment with Meng Yao, acknowledging changes in himself and others.
