Summary

Zhang Ye finished his work late at night and stayed behind to tidy up. He met Wei, the editor, in the elevator, who was working overtime to finish a task. Zhang Ye offered to help but Wei declined, saying he could handle it. The next day, Zhang Ye received a call from Lu, who told him that Wei had collapsed and died due to overwork and a pre-existing heart condition. Zhang Ye rushed to the TV station, where he found the staff grieving and blaming themselves for Wei's death. Wang Shui Xin's secretary arrived, ordering everyone to return to work, but Zhang Ye was furious and scolded him, causing the secretary to retreat in fear. Zhang Ye's outburst was motivated by his anger and frustration towards the station's management and their treatment of Wei.
