Summary

The chapter describes an artificial island called Academy Island, which serves as the campus for Wu Zhen Gao school. Besides the school buildings, the island has various facilities to support student life, such as dormitories and a dining hall. The island has also developed various businesses, becoming a small city. In a corner of the island, there is an abandoned building. A group of new students from Wu Zhen Gao arrive at this building, where they are greeted by a woman wielding a shotgun and a knife. She warns the students to remain silent, and then announces that they will be taking an entrance exam for the Assault Department. The exam involves the students fighting each other within the abandoned building, using any means necessary except killing. The students who capture the most opponents will receive the best grades.
