Summary

Long Qi Cheng, a city known for its dragon riders, serves as a hub for powerful families seeking to hunt the Oceanic Dragon. Han Feng Xue and a curious young lady, Shuang Rou, enter the city, where her excitement is met with his exasperation. After she insists on eating, they visit Ju Feng Inn, where Shuang Rou attracts the attention of a handsome young man, Qi Feng. A confrontation ensues when a scarred man threatens Shuang Rou, leading to a violent clash between him and Qi Feng. Despite Qi Feng's initial restraint, he ultimately reveals his strength by using a contracted magical beast to subdue the attacker. After the chaos, Qi Feng offers to accompany Shuang Rou to the imperial capital, which she reluctantly accepts despite feeling uneasy about him. They depart on Qi Feng's Oceanic Dragon, leaving Han Feng Xue behind, who silently observes the unfolding events.
