Summary

In a battered van, Du Yu tries to engage two silent girls, Fan Xiao Guo and Dong Qian Qiu, during a journey to the underworld. Fan Xiao Guo, conflicted about her role, feigns a need to leave but ultimately presents Du Yu with a mysterious black scroll containing dark skills from the Old Ancestor. This scroll, titled "Records of the Eight Directions of Ghosts," is said to grant immense power by allowing the user to summon ghosts. Despite concerns about its dark nature, Du Yu signs it, claiming the skills for himself. As they explore the underworld, Du Yu learns about the Legend Management Bureau's diminished status and vows to restore its former glory.
