Summary

In a gruesome scene filled with the bodies of the Ling family and state soldiers, Chu Tian remains calm and unaffected, prompting Li Xiaoling to question his background. A middle-aged man from the Chu family appears, intrigued by Chu Tian's swordsmanship and questioning his identity. Despite the man's superior cultivation, he is suddenly killed by a powerful green energy attack, shocking Li Xiaoling and the remaining soldiers. As the giant wolves close in, Li Xiaoling, desperate to maintain his dignity, confronts Chu Tian, who assures him he won't die at the hands of wolves but instead will be killed by the Major Bandit of the Three Prefectures. In a fit of rage, Li Xiaoling attacks Chu Tian but is swiftly defeated, resulting in his beheading.
