Summary

In a remote mountainous area, an old monkey, a clone of Sun Wukong, guides a one-armed young man named Chen Wei after escaping a dire situation. The clone reveals his impending demise and warns Chen Wei about the Celestials guarding the Demon Path. He directs Chen Wei to a neutral city, Waking of Insects, to seek the All-Knowing One for help. As the clone demonstrates three powerful strikes, Chen Wei becomes entranced, witnessing Sun Wukong's past glory. With heavy hearts, they part ways, and Chen Wei vows revenge against Heaven for his misfortunes. Meanwhile, Sun Wukong’s spirit enters the underworld, reflecting on his tumultuous past and the memories of Flower and Fruit Mountain, signifying his unyielding spirit despite the fate that awaits him.
