Summary

Ye Han ambushes Ye Zong with a poisoned dagger, revealing his intent to seize the position of City Lord by framing the Dark Guild. Despite being poisoned, Ye Zong transforms into a Wind and Snow Giant Ape and fights back, surprising Ye Han. As the commotion escalates, Ye Han flees, leaving Ye Zong gravely injured. Ye Zong, realizing the betrayal of his son, calls for help, fearing for his life and expressing regret for not being there for his daughter, Ye Zi Yun. As she arrives, Ye Zong pleads with Nie Li to take care of Ye Zi Yun after his impending death from the Dragon Tongue Grass poison, which he knows will soon claim his life.
