Summary

Wang Fan and his companions, surrounded by sand soldiers and dog-headed bats, encounter a humanoid creature made of vines, identified as a Carnivorous Tree. Despite their efforts, the tree absorbs life from surrounding trees, growing stronger. The group struggles to combat it, with Li Cheng shooting at it and the Niu defending against its attacks. As they devise a plan, Lin Qing Xue uses lava fireballs to trap the trees, allowing the sand soldiers to attack. Eventually, the man-eating trees are defeated, revealing their true forms as ape-men, leaving the group puzzled about their nature.
