Summary

The chapter describes a conversation between two soldiers, Wang Ning An and Wu Shi Cheng, who are sharing a meal and drink. Wu Shi Cheng laments the hardships of war, missing his wife, and the possibility of her being unfaithful. Wang Ning An, who is alone, tries to comfort him. Wang Ning An then reveals that the Liao Kingdom has sent someone, which concerns the matter of Tong Tian. . The chapter also follows the journey of Zheng Yi Tuo, the emperor's younger brother, who has been captured. He manages to survive by finding food and eventually reaches the outskirts of Bazhou City, where he is helped to return to his master, Ye Lu Zhong Yuan. However, Ye Lu Zhong Yuan criticizes Zheng Yi Tuo's poor military abilities. Zheng Yi Tuo then informs Ye Lu Zhong Yuan that he has heard important news about someone trying to harm him.
