Summary

In a fierce duel, Bai Ze unleashes invisible "core threads" against a mutated ice blue entity, only to find his threads severed and pain returned to him. As he struggles, he manages to wrap the entity, revealing a black creature inside it. Just as he is about to be overwhelmed, a man in a white robe intervenes, saving him. Bai Ze is then transported back to safety, where he meets members of the Dawn Guild, including Deputy Captain Huang Hun. They assess the situation, discussing the fate of an unconscious ally, Wild Wolf.
