Summary

Xiao Yan, after leaving the Yao Zu, is eager to enhance his strength but feels something is off, especially with no attacks from the Dan Dian. He harbors deep hatred for the Dan Dian for their attempts on his life due to their greed for his alchemical knowledge. While sensing two mid-six star figures nearby, he suspects they are sent by the Dan Dian to kill him. He realizes they are likely underestimating him, thinking he is still at early-five star level. As he probes the area, he discovers a group of seven assassins from the Dan Dian, including two peak-six stars. Planning to eliminate them, he dons a mask to disguise himself before confronting the assassins.
