Summary

The shadow quickly vanished as Yi Fan pursued it. He noticed a small stone shift, indicating someone was nearby. Yi Fan entered the alley, sensing something and slashing his sword, revealing the black-faced man, Mo Tian, who had attacked him previously. Yi Fan pressed his sword to Mo Tian's throat, demanding his name and the reason for his presence. Mo Tian revealed that he was from Tian Mo Valley and they were preparing for war against the Gui Shen Sect, with significant forces mobilized. Yi Fan, relieved they weren't targeting Pu Tian Temple, pressed for more information about a cold killer and the Old Ghost of Withered Wood, a powerful elder of Tian Mo Valley. After extracting the necessary information, Yi Fan killed Mo Tian and decided to leave Yongchang County. As he was leaving, he encountered Dream Yao and two familiar figures, Yi Ming and Xuan Jian.
