Summary

Bai Ze awakens in a tent, recalling the chaos after a crash. Duck Neck, who saved him by cushioning their fall, is injured but excited to see him awake. They bond over their admiration for the Gray Phoenix Lord. Bai Ze realizes something is wrong with the Graphite Saucer's core, which is linked to another entity, causing a mutation. As he contemplates this, he experiences a surreal vision where he feels disconnected from reality. He returns to find a young lad, Li Zheng Hao, discovering a Mirage Pearl amidst the wreckage, but is warned to run as danger approaches.
