Summary

Zhao Sheng, newly released from prison, returns home with hopes of reuniting with his wife and son, only to learn from a neighbor that his wife has left him for another man, taking their child with her. Devastated and enraged, he confronts Yang Liu Qing, a police officer who holds a grudge against him. In a fit of anger, she punches him, causing him to bleed. Afterward, she reports the incident to her father, Director Yang, who is furious at her actions and demands an explanation. Yang Liu Qing reveals Zhao Sheng's admission of deliberately running over her mother, shocking Director Yang.
