Chapter 165: Gathering Clouds and Fog (2). [332]
Summary
The scene describes a one-sided battle where big, muscular men are being slaughtered by light bullets from the castle walls. The men, despite their strength, are unable to withstand the attacks and are being killed easily. The light bullets are compared to the Grim Reaper's laughter and footsteps, emphasizing the inevitability of death. Tie Sha and Tong Chui, two of the men, are shocked and despairing, realizing that they are being deliberately let die by their superiors. They are unable to retreat due to the rules of the Blood Kill Castle, which dictate that anyone who retreats during a life-or-death battle will be executed. Despite the hopelessness of their situation, the men continue to charge forward, determined to take a few of the castle's people down with them. However, they are met with even more brutal force, including landmines that blow them up and tree trunks that crush them. Chu Tian, who is watching the battle, is outraged by the unfairness of it all. He realizes that the spiritual crystal weapons being used by the castle are far too powerful for the men to withstand. He decides to take action, using his magical powers to create a massive amount of white mist that spreads outwards. However, even Chu Tian's powers are affected by the rich spiritual energy of the environment, making it difficult for him to control the mist. He is forced to struggle to spread the mist, which only extends about ten feet around him with each breath.Full content
