Summary

Wu Yin Er and other courtesans performed songs and toasts at a gathering hosted by Xi Men Qing, who later distributed rewards to the attendees. Despite Huang Si's insistence for him to stay, Xi Men Qing left due to prior commitments. The next day, he was summoned to the yamen for an inquiry. Dai An, Xi Men Qing’s aide, was tasked with finding a matchmaker, Wen Sao, leading to an amusing encounter where he hurriedly sought her out for unknown reasons related to Xi Men Qing's intentions. The narrative captures the interplay of social obligations, hospitality, and the dynamics of relationships among the characters.
