Summary

An Zheng traverses a long tunnel, learning about the Ling Clan, a group with special abilities that hid after suffering losses in a great war. He encounters the elderly Ling Zu Lao Ren, who offers a treasure in exchange for sparing his clan. An Zheng sees through the elder's illusions and expresses interest in the treasure. The elder reveals the clan's dark history of worshipping wicked beings and attempts to attack An Zheng with elemental powers, which he easily counters using thunder energy. In a decisive moment, An Zheng seizes the elder's scepter, erasing its power, and prepares to confront the elder, who appears frail once more.
