Summary

Wu Mian's quest for the elixir of immortality reveals deeper motives, as he searches for materials for the Longevity Technique. After struggling for over a month in the mountains without success, he and his companions, Gui Bu Gui and Ren San, find hope in an old tavern keeper's map. However, they learn the Ghost Gate, essential to their quest, only opens every thirty years. Despite their near-starvation and setbacks, they remain determined. Soon after, palace officials invite them to a Recruitment Hall established by the new prince of Huai Nan, suggesting a potential new direction for their journey toward immortality.
