Chapter 162: Letting Go and Doing It. [163]
Summary
Inside a military camp, Supreme Commander Li Xin Fan discusses the situation with his personal guard captain, Wang Le Shui. Le Shui expresses concern about allowing certain individuals to leave the camp without restrictions, fearing it could expose their weaknesses to the royal family. Li Xin Fan, however, believes that not intervening is a show of respect and that the military's unity is more important than immediate concerns. He praises a young man, Ou Yang Ming, for his cleverness and restraint in dealing with the Liang family, who have offended multiple generals. Ou Yang Ming, upon entering the city, is approached by a servant from the Ni family, who informs him about the Liang family's actions and offers to guide him. Ou Yang Ming, confident in his abilities, decides to confront the Liang family directly. He breaks into their residence, where he is met with hostility but remains unfazed, asking about the sister of Jiang Cheng Wei, indicating his intent to take decisive action against them.Full content
