Summary

Ning Qiushui's extraction of the key from the plaster statue is critical, as any interruption could result in the key being sucked back in. Amidst rising fear, Wen Qingya flees, overwhelmed by memories of terror. As the Lady in Black approaches Ning Qiushui, Su Xiaoxiao bravely intervenes but is captured. Liao Jian retrieves a coffin nail to pin the Lady, but it rusts quickly. Just as she prepares to attack, Ning Qiushui successfully pulls the key, causing the statue to shatter and releasing the trapped souls. The Lady in Black, now guilt-ridden, accepts a cross pendant from Ning Qiushui before dissolving into the rain, ending her torment.
