Chapter 161: Restoring Health [160]
Summary
Best wishes finds Xiong Mama easier to care for than the little Xiong cubs, as she is not picky about food. Despite the presence of three wolves outside, Best wishes tends to the cub and offers it water. She reflects on Xiong Mama's injury, hoping the fountain water will aid in healing. Remembering there is bamboo in her space, she retrieves a stalk but discovers Xiong Mama does not like it. Instead, she feeds her pumpkins, which Mama enjoys, and observes the wound healing. After a nap, Best wishes wakes to find Xiong Mama missing but soon spots her high in a tree. Xiong Mama, now healed, shows confidence against the wolves, who flee upon her return. Best wishes feels relieved but contemplates how to return.Full content
