Chapter 161: Like a Child. [161]

Summary

Qin Heng, after a night of drinking, wakes up feeling refreshed and seeks out Dong Yi. He finds Dong Yi and Qin Sheng bonding over hunting. Dong Yi advises Qin Heng to seek happiness like a carefree child, which he initially resists. Over time, Qin Heng's behavior becomes increasingly childish, leading to humorous situations in the village. After enduring painful medicinal preparations from Dong Yi, Qin Heng delivers a healing pill to his grandfather, Qin He, who recovers and expresses gratitude to Dong Yi. Qin He then proposes that Dong Yi stay and teach Qin Heng medicine, but Dong Yi refuses, insisting he will not be confined and that the rules of his life are set by him alone.
