Summary

Yi Fan leaves Putian Temple with determination, while a man named Leng Sha drinks alone in a tavern, lamenting his loneliness. A black-faced man joins him, teasing him about his refined demeanor. They engage in a humorous argument, revealing their contrasting personalities. A lecherous man enters, bringing news that a young man from Putuo Mountain is in town. Leng Sha is eager to meet him, especially since he defeated his junior brother, Haoyan. They plan to find this young man, but Leng Sha warns that their intentions must remain secret. As they leave, Leng Sha kills the shopkeeper to ensure silence.
