Summary

A mysterious man in a white robe appears beneath Wu Mian's window, commenting on Wu Mian's skills and Xu Fu's seeds. Gui Bu Gui, recognizing the man from a century prior, engages in banter. Wu Mian abruptly confronts the man, revealing his decaying face, causing disgust. As they exchange words, the white-robed man reveals he is a puppet, but Wu Mian attacks, severing it. Despite being cut in half, the puppet continues to mock Wu Mian until it self-explodes. After the chaos, Wu Mian questions Gui Bu Gui about the puppet's identity, but Gui Bu Gui can’t recall anyone fitting the description. Suddenly, urgent knocks interrupt them, signaling trouble outside.
