Summary

In the city of Yingzhou, Pei Zi Yun comforts the young Loli, Aoba, who longs to fly kites, a promise her father never fulfilled. After arriving at the Fu Mansion, Pei Zi Yun learns about the city's trade developments and Ji Bei Hou's commendation. He receives a letter from Wei Ang, inviting him to Tang Gong Temple to mend their friendship. At the temple, Pei Zi Yun sets traps and reflects on their bond. When they meet, Wei Ang's soldiers ambush Pei Zi Yun, revealing a plot against him. The eunuch, serving Prince Lu, orders Pei Zi Yun's execution, but he remains calm, aware of the dangers ahead.
