Chapter 160: Blood Sea Demon Shadow: The Knight's Path to Revenge [159]
Summary
Mei Lun remains unaffected by the chaos surrounding him as he sits on a blood-red throne, while the destruction of Daichi continues as the sea of blood absorbs Abyssal iron ore. Dana and the other knights, struck by the overwhelming malevolence of the blood sea, are roused from their stupor by water elementals and flee in terror. Mei Lun observes their escape, aware of Hong Lian's growing power as a fourth-tier legend, but decides against allowing her to create thralls for now, preferring to utilize her Blood Minions. He contemplates the possibility of easier breakthroughs to legend within the time-space rift, considering the implications for Spike and Garu. Meanwhile, the blood sea wreaks havoc, severing the Heiyuan Iron Mine vein, and Mei Lun plans to forge Titan Statues using the iron he has collected. As he returns from his exploration, Dana expresses concern for Mei Lun's safety, believing powerful demons lurk nearby. Upon encountering a Black Knight, Dana warns him about the demon camp, only to realize Mei Lun is safe and returning. The Black Knight informs Mei Lun of a fragile truce with the demons in the rift, as both sides await a significant alignment that will enhance their powers. Mei Lun, curious about the order's secrets, requests a meeting with their leader, but the Black Knight defers, promising to relay the message. After returning to the Daichi faction's base, Mei Lun submits his tasks for merit and exchanges knowledge and resources. He enters intense training, focusing on the Heart of Daichi, which enhances Spike's imprint abilities. Spike successfully completes three basic imprint runes, allowing for a faster progression to becoming a third-tier imprint knight. Concurrently, Garu collaborates with mechanical experts to design the Titan Colossus, aiming to use Abyss Iron for its construction. Mei Lun balances his time between hunting demons for achievements and preparing for future projects.Full content
